Mallence Bart-Williams is a Magnificent young woman on a mission to change the world. She is a phenomenal force who is just unpacking her power one mission at a time. I first heard of this incredible human being several months ago as I was browsing the web and suddenly came upon her TED talk in Berlin. I was transfixed to the computer screen as every word she uttered brought me to the realization that I was experiencing greatness on another level.
As she spoke about the treasures of Africa and the value of our natural resources, it was undeniable that she was telling the truth. She spoke of the richness of our natural resources which the western world value more than we do and how we often overlook the wealth of our nations. Not just material wealth but cultural wealth. It wasn’t as though I didn’t know this or hear of this before, but it was the way in which she told the story. The way in which she made me appreciate my worth, my value, my cultural heritage that was the game changer. I knew then that I would like to connect with her, to learn from her, to speak to her. Even though she is a very young lady, she is packed with centuries of wisdom.
Alas! The opportunity came and she didn’t let me down. Deeply intense and confident, she spoke with such eloquence about who she is, and what she represents. She’s a multi-faceted entrepreneur, a designer, a film maker and a leader in her own right. She is well sought after in many industries. She is the founder of the Creative collective Folorunsho, which is defined on the website as “Born under the Eyes of God” Their tag line says it all, “It’s not about charity. It’s all about SHARITY”
With Mallence it’s not about the few minutes you watch her on the screen, but about the depth of strength and wisdom she possesses and wants to share with the world. Check out her website here www.folorunsho.net
